Try This On For Size

Try This On For Size (TTOFS for short, Try This On For Size for regular, Try This On For Size T-Shirt Printing Co. for long) was birthed in January 2010 to proud parents Noel Villenueve and Steve Gillon. It was a water birth. Noel and Steve were born and raised (on the playground is where they spent most of their days) in sunny Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and they share a bond only found when killing/disposing of a body…or starting a t-shirt brand. They chose the latter.

How Try This On For Size came to be is a tale of intrigue and international diplomacy simplistic in its beauty but complex in its creation. Actually it goes like this:

2004: They both simultaneously thought of the name. Especially Steve, but especially Noel.

2005: They made a MySpace with mock-ups designed in MS Paint.

2008: Noel pressured Steve to give him money, something, something pyramid scheme...

2010: Steve was broke, Noel persisted in starting the company, thus he was the money man and forever has a hold over Steve.

All TTOFS shirts are printed in the all-mighty THREAD-QUARTERS™ by Noel himself. Steve handles the packaging as well as the web and media departments. Not only do we have our own line of sweet threads but we do corporate orders. Our client list includes, well, CLIENTS!

The Try This On For Size Printing Co. has set up pop-up shops at Fan Expo Canada 2010, numerous events hosted by 102.1 The Edge and their tees are sold at Bodega located in Hamilton, Ontario. They have been featured on the SPACE Channel, Buy Tees, I am The Trend, Buy Zombie and the Inevitable Zombie Apocalyps and Zombie’s Don’t Run, just to name a few.

Their talent doesn’t end there…they also have a YouTube Channel where you can find them getting into hilarious, well-edited hijinx as well as a Twitter that promises to clog up your feed with news, deals, bowel movement schedule, prom date speculation, zombie survival plans, etc.!

So go ahead, snoop around. But don’t take too long (WE HATE LOITERING) unless you are trying to decide which 17 shirts to buy (in that case WE LOVE LOITERING)
